A party was held for Eleanor and Wilhelm in honor of their Golden wedding anniversary on December 25, 1949. With an "Open House" in the Friedens Evangelical church basement. Christmas Carols and a few old songs were sung by four granddaughters: Misses Betty Wille, Henrietta Naylor, Elaine Wille and Alva Mae Wille. A dinner was served to 85 guests. Miss Betty Wille sang "The Lord's Prayer.".2

She was listed as a four-month-old white female born in Illinois.3 Anna "Minnie" Wesemann, daughter of Dietrich "Dick" Wesemann and Katharine "Katie" Holz, was born on March 5, 1880 in Madison County, Illinois.1 Conflicting evidence placed her birth in 1882 (1910 census).4 She was baptized on March 21, 1880 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Pleasant Ridge, Madison County, Illinois, sponsors were R. Peters, A. Holz and M. Wesemann.1 Her baptism name was Rosa Anna Maria.1
Anna (her first marriage) marrried Friedrich Aumann , son of Friedrich Aumann and Hanna Wüllner, on June 18, 1899 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Illinois.1 Her husband, Friedrich, died circa 1905.1
Anna (her second marriage) married Henry Langreder , son of Henry Langreder and Anna Maria Thieman, on February 2, 1908 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Illinois.1
Anna was enumerated as the wife of Henry Langreder under the name of "Anna Langreder" on the 1910 U. S. Census for Pleasant Ridge, Madison County, Illinois. She was listed as a married 28-year-old female born in Illinois. She had been married to her second husband, Henry Langreder, for two years and had one child by that marriage, still living. (She also had a son from her first marriage).4
Anna was enumerated as the wife of Henry Langreder under the name of "Minnie Langreder" on the 1920 U. S. Census for Illinois. She was listed as a married 40-year-old female born in Illinois. Both of her parents were born in Hanover, Germany.2 Her husband, Henry, died on November 1, 1932 at age 61; cause of death was cerebral hemmorhage and paralysis.5
Anna was visited by Rudolph Aumann on April 14, 1940.6
Anna died on February 5, 1953 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland, Madison County, Illinois, at age 72.1,7
Anna's wake was held on February 6, 1953 at Herbert Kassly Funeral Home, Collinsville, Madison County, Illinois.7 Her obituary was published in the Edwardsville Intelligencer Newspaper on February 7, 1953.7 Her obituary stated:
Mrs. Anna Langreder, 72, of 1210 Portland place, Collinsville, died Friday at St. Joseph hospital in Highland from complications following a paralytic stroke.
     She was born March 5, 1880, at Pleasant Ridge, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dietrich Weseman.
     She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Aumann, in 1905 and by her second husband, Henry Langreder, in 1932.
     She is survived by three sons, William and Raymond Langreder of Collinsville, Rudolph Aumann of Edwardsville; one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Lorna) Gunderson of Collinsville; three sisters, Mrs. Lena Gerbing of Collinsville, Mrs Eda Gieseking of Troy and Dina Peters of Wray, Colo; two brothers, Jules and Eward Weseman of Collinsville; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
     She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church of Pleasant Ridge and also of the Ladies Aid.
     The body may be viewed at the Herbert Kassly funeral home in Collinsville after 7 o'clock Saturday evening until Monday as 12 noon when it will be taken to the Pleasant Ridge Lutheran church to lie in state until the time of service. The Rev. A. J. Weber will officiate.
     Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge cemetery.
